Von Braun Memorial Scholarship

Honoring the father of the space industry, Dr. Wernher von Braun, the National Space Club - Huntsville is proud to announce the offering of this scholarship, awarded annually to a junior or senior attending the University of Alabama in Huntsville, majoring in a space-related field, with a minimum GPA of 3.5.

Application can be made through the scholarship office at UAH with finalist identified and provided to the NSC Scholarship Committee, who ranks the candidates for final selection. The scholarship is awarded at the annual Wernher von Braun dinner sponsored by the National Space Club - Huntsville.

North Alabama Engineering Scholarship

The National Space Club - Huntsville is proud to announce the offering of its North Alabama Engineering Scholarship Program. It is the club’s hope that by providing financial incentive, more students will follow an aerospace curriculum with the intent of becoming practicing engineers and scientists.

The scholarships are intended to promote:

  1. Careers in the aerospace industry
  2. the pursuit of related engineering or science degrees at a university in the North Alabama area

This program is targeted at current students enrolled at an ABET-accredited university in pursuit of an engineering or science degree that would reasonably lead to a career in aeronautics or astronautics. Emphasis is placed upon Alabama A&M University as well as Calhoun Community College. Eligible students will need to apply to the NSC Scholarship Committee.
